Martin’s Farm

Man always has a desire to keep his connection with the nature. This may be because once he also comes from this place!

Gerry Martin’s. He became National Geographic Channel’s first Indian Adventurer. When your passion becomes your work then there is no looking back in life. No matter what comes on the way.

Martin’s Farm, it is on the Off Sarjapura Road, Bangalore. Good place to connect with the nature. The farm got lot of farm /pet animal’s .My son is going for a school day trip next week :) . Check out Martin’s Farm and his official web site.

One interesting thing I come to know is they are conducting bird walks every Sunday at the rejuvenated Kaikondrahalli lake on Sarjapur road.

One of my friends is a professional bird watcher. When I asked him how he got into this, he said he got the passion when he attended the Bird watching camp during his school days . Coincidentally now I’m reading the autobiography of Salim Ali “The Fall of a Sparrow “. The heading of this book is taken for the famous bible Quote

“Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”.

Who know, this week Sunday you may see me near Kaikondrahalli lake :)
