Some time quick plan work best then long plans !! Our trip is one kind of that .We planned the previous night and next day morning we are on the road heading towards YELAGIRI

How to get there from Bangalore

Yelagiri is around 150Km from Bangalore.Drive towards Hosur on the NH7 . At Krishnagiri   take the Chennai road NH46 drive up to Vaniyambadi . Next to Vaniyambadi toll gate (after 2 KM) you will see the signboard 36 KM  to Yelagiri.It is a underpass road take you to Tirupathur.  5 KM from there the hill road starts !!

Punganoor Lake

Make sure you start early to reach @ 10 AM , so you can enjoy the boating for 2- 3 hr . We took the pedal boat and I do not want to tell outside it really  tested my stamina to pedal the boat J .

 National Park


This 10 acre campus is having a artificial falls , aquarium , Musical fountain ( 2 show @ 7 and 8 PM )and a big landscaping for the kids to run around .This park is really nice and maintained very well . Good place to relax and have food with family.






Yelagiri Paragliding 
There is a active paragliding club check out the web site YASA.And you have trekking too , google to get more information on this.

rambling THOUGHTS in a DAY!!

My mobile alarm wake me up @ 5.40 AM , as usual my body refuse to wake up .I have to rush  to catch my morning train @6.50 AM ,need to travel around 170 Km away from where I stand now !! Out side home weather is around 20 °C , the road is wet ,might be raining the whole night .Saw one bus is approaching the bus stop started to run but missed the target .I was thinking did I ran slowly ??Yes, my fitness level is not low but very low now. Got a cab and jumped in .I need to tell about the Cab pickup in Bangalore .This are all Call centre pick up/drop cabs .When they are off they will give you a lift .You need to pay little more than the bus fair .They are the unofficial carriers for early and late commuters like me in the city !! Reached railway station 10 min early, walked straight to the news paper shop, asked for HINDU News paper .Shop keeper checked and replied back HINDU got over!! so my next choice is DNA news paper and bought one more Tamil news paper .By reading the headline
