Bangkok Visit 02-07-2008Flight Bangalore to Bangkok :
My first trip from Bangalore International Airport. All the facility in the Bangalore International air port was Good. When compare to other International air port, much more work has to be done .
The flight lifted us high at 00.30 Am on 02-07-2008 to Thailand capital Bangkok. Flight fly top high to Chennai and from Chennai straight to Bangkok We reached 6.10 Am. Thailand is 1.5 ahead than India.
We cleared our baggage at 7.15 am and take a pre paid taxi to our Hotel . Its cost us about 300 baht .( 1 INR = 0.75 THB ) .The road infrastructure are excellent , with nice and big fly over .Road Transport is well planed in Bangkok .
We stayed in a hotel called Novotel . It’s a 4 Star hotel . All the facility are very good . We where ahead one day for our International Textile Fair July 3-6 2008 in Bitech .
Trade Show International Textile and Machinery Expo July 3-6 ,2008
10AM , we went to BITECH where the show is organized , it’s a well organized expo building where you can have a International standard exhibition . Will good food court , parking etc .First day we made all the arrangement for the next day's show .
Trade fair starts every day at 9.30 Am to 6.30 Pm , from our hotel it will take 15 Min drive . In taxi we have to Pay 55 to 60 Baht .
Over all we had a good business time, meeting different people , exchanging business card etc .
Night Life in Bangkok ( SILOM )
9.30 Pm we went to a place called Silom in Bangkok . Night life is unbelievable ! its start at about 8.00 PM to 3.00 Am in the morning . you can do shopping like light shades , wood work etc . Food is excellent on street . You can wine and dine in good hotels / pub with live music and live dance . And of course Thai Girls Hoooot !! ( be careful )
Tamil Language and Relation with Thailand
One thing was more surprising is the tamil word . Thai in tamil is mother . Bangkok international Air port named “ Suvarnabhumi International airport “ . In tamil Suvarnabhumi is Gold Land . And a bank name called Ayodiya Bank . May be as its near to Chennai by sea , if you draw a straight line from Chennai towords west you will hit Thailand first . some Tamil people may lived there . I want to see the history .
Back Bangkok to Bangalore
We came back to Bangalore on 7th July at 9:10 PM . You always feel a safe inside you when the flight land on the mother land .
