We Started from Tiruvanmiyur beach at 10.30 Am, we take the ECR Road , It’s a blessing for the two wheelers and four wheelers to ride in the ECR rode, Roads are in good condition , less traffic. we enjoyed the ride in two wheeler . the day was little hot .
Stopped on the way for a break , the place was fully covered by tree ( xmas tree ) .I do not know why they are growing this trees here .May be for some medicine purpose ??
Then we continued our journey towards Mamallapuram , reached mamallapuram at 12.00 clock . Now Mamallapuram place was more commercialized , lots of shops , people etc
Every were we can able to see the statue made from the rock . We have to climb the rock to see many places . These are very important places for Tamil nadu and for India as this places show our history . Pallava King Rajasimha who had his kingdom here during 700 AD . The maintenance need to improve other wise we will loss this historical places very soon .
We had our lunch in the near by hotel at 2 PM , Then we went to see the shore temple , This was maintained by private , so the place was very good and clean . We took some rest there laying in the green grass and enjoyed the see breeze .Then we went to the beach . Our friends enjoyed the bath in the sea .
If you want to do shopping , you can buy small to big Stone made statue here . You can visit this place with family / friends worth to spend a day .
At 5PM we started back , when the traffic become more it’s a sign that we are near to our jungle called city .
