If you are changing you house from one location to another, here is the Procedure to change the Address 1.Inform your existing Agent that you are relocating 2.Your current Agent will give a Transfer Form and give details of Agent nearer to your new location 3.Along with the transfer form , you have to Show the regulator and Address Proof to your new location Agent , He will verify your details and register your name and give you a new customer number. You can get it done all in a Day

Ration Card is a MUST for a Government Gas connection Indane , Hp,Barath ( if you want to know how to get a Ration Card see my earlier post ) Go to your nearest Government Gas Agent,he will check your Ration Card and give you a acknowledgement Slip . The Agent will inform you by POST for the new connection date, Depend upon the availability you will get the connection ( it may take 4 – 6 month ).You have to Pay for the First cylinder ( may be around Rs.700-800).Some of the agent will ask you to buy the Gas Stove from Him , but its not a compulsory After you get the first gas cylinder , you can apply for second gas cylinder , again it will take 6- 1 year If you are a Bachelor and planning to settle in Bangalore , then you have to plan to get Ration Card & Gas connection soon . All this Process will take 6 – 8 Month .If you do not plan now , Once you get Marriage ,you will be in short of time , Which will force you to buy Private Gas connection will cost more money !!
